What We Do

Camshafts and lifters are all we do. We look for the fix that costs you the least.

Regrinding a Worn Cam

We grind your cam back to its original shape. Or we can change the shape so the valves open more, or less. We work on flat-tappet and roller cams.

More About Regrinding

New and Custom Cams

New cams for almost any engine. Custom cams made for your engine. We can also make a new cam that matches an old one nobody sells anymore.

Camshaft Repair

When a repair costs less than a new cam, we weld worn lobes and fix bearing journals, thrust areas, dowel pins and keyways.

Lifter Resurfacing

We resurface most types of lifters so they match your reground cam. Send them in with the cam, and the cam and lifters go back in the engine together.

More About Lifters

Need other engine parts? We carry lifters, timing sets and gears, and rocker arms, and we can order in almost any engine part you need. See Performance Parts or call 360-971-9412.

We also grind motorcycle cams and take on industrial and locomotive cam work.

How It Works

  1. Tell Us About Your Cam

Call us, or fill in the quote form. Tell us the year, make and model, and the engine size.

  2. Get a Price

We get back to you with a price and about how long the work will take (a regrind usually takes 2–4 weeks; call to confirm).

  3. Call Before You Ship

Always call us before you mail a cam, from anywhere. Live nearby? You can drop it off during shop hours. How to send your cam

The Oregon Camshaft beaver: a beaver chewing a log into a camshaft

The Beaver Has Been Here Since 1984

Our logo shows a beaver chewing a piece of Oregon timber into a camshaft. It was drawn when the company started. Oregon is the Beaver State, and "busy as a beaver" is how we like to work: hard work and fast service.
